Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Omars uses a few essential ones so the site works, and analytics cookies only if you say yes.
Essential cookies (always on)
These make the site work, so they don't need consent. They don't track you across other websites.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| .AspNetCore.Identity.Application | Keeps you signed in on this device | Up to 30 days, or until you sign out |
| .AspNetCore.Session | Remembers your basket and order choices | Until you close the browser |
| .AspNetCore.Antiforgery.* | Protects forms from being sent by other websites | Until you close the browser |
| .AspNetCore.Mvc.CookieTempDataProvider | Carries short messages between pages (e.g. "coupon applied") | Until you close the browser |
| fo_consent | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months |
The site also keeps your latest order number in your browser's storage so we can show its progress while you browse. It stays on your device and is cleared after 30 minutes.
Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
If you choose "Accept all", we use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to see which pages are visited and how orders flow, so we can improve the site. Google acts on our behalf. We don't use advertising cookies.
| Name | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Tells visits apart (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
| _ga_* | Keeps track of a visit (Google Analytics) | 2 years |
Changing your mind
Use "Change cookie settings" above or in the footer at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; if you delete the essential ones you'll be signed out and your basket will empty. More about cookies: ico.org.uk.
